Artefaction has been our software development partner since 2005 when they began the development of an intranet-based document and workflow management system in support of our quality management initiatives. The documents addressed both internal and external process improvements and included some complex data-driven and reversible workflows. Artefaction took the time to understand our requirements and worked closely with our staff to develop Customer Complaint Notifications, Corrective Action Requests, Nonconformance Reports, Purchase Requisitions, New Product Forms, Applications for Product Development and Technical Advice Requests, to name a few. The system has been built on industry-standard technologies including Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server and is integrated with Tyco's Active Directory system for single sign-on.
These processes are still in use today in offices across Australia and New Zealand and are a testament to the quality, usability and reliability of the intranet application. The system also includes storage of and reference to a wide range of other quality-based documentation which is available to anyone on the Tyco intranet.
